Coleman Park United makes history

This is what months of work looks like.

On May 26, 2026, Coleman Park United showed up to the West Palm Beach City Commission meeting in support of Palm Beach Venture Philanthropy receiving four City parcels on Tamarind Avenue. Parcels that will anchor meaningful, community-driven economic development right here in Coleman Park.

These are neighbors who have done the work, who sat through community conversations about the pros AND cons of development, who asked hard questions, and who made an informed, collective decision to use their voice to shape what growth looks like in their community. 

That's resident power. That's the RISE Coleman Park model.

For months, our team has been walking alongside Coleman Park residents not telling them what to think, but giving them the information, the space, and the platform to decide for themselves. Because we believe that the people who live in a community are their own experts.

The Palm Beach Venture Philanthropy, a division of Quantum Foundation has been a committed partner in Coleman Park, and this moment reflects what's possible when mission-aligned investment meets an organized, educated, and activated community.
