Community Power in Action at RISE Coleman Park

This past Thursday, August 14, RISE Coleman Park Resident Advisory Committee (RAC) held its third meeting, and the energy was incredible! Over 25 residents came together to actively shape the future of their community. 

Meeting Highlights: ✨ Resident leaders shared inspiring insights from their recent visit to Spartanburg, NC, demonstrating what's possible when communities are truly engaged in their development ✨ We unveiled our incremental development map and gathered valuable resident feedback on current and planned projects ✨ Residents didn't just respond to our vision—they shared their own dreams and aspirations for Coleman Park 

The Power of Resident Engagement - What struck me most was witnessing firsthand how resident voices are the driving force behind RISE Coleman Park's mission to support positive gentrification. When communities lead their own transformation, real change happens. 

The enthusiasm, thoughtful feedback, and growing participation (25+ residents and counting!) reminds us why resident-led development works. These aren't just stakeholders—they're the heart of sustainable community change.
